The study’s findings concluded that investment bankers add significant and measurable value to the sale transaction process, and that business owners who hired investment bankers were very happy with their decision to do so.

In a counterintuitive result, a significant majority of business owners agreed that among the services provided by the investment banker, managing the sale and leading the business owner through sale process were more valuable than finding a buyer.
